Surveys for the Web Content Management Systems (WCMS) project were sent out over the past week. These surveys are targetted to three user groups:

• Content editors
• Designers, developers, and website administrators
• Systems administrators

The surveys ask a variety of questions about current web management practices as well as future needs.

The purpose of this is to:

1. Understand current web maintenance practices across the university
2. Create a comprehensive list of needs for future web content management
3. Communicate with users about the WCMS project
4. Help us understand what should be covered in future training programs
